DAWSONVILLE, GA — VRD Racing proudly announces that Nico Christodoulou will compete in USF2000 Presented by Continental Tire in 2024 following his successful performance in the GB3 Championship in the UK with the Arden VRD team alongside an impressive win in Toronto in USF2000.
During his third season with VRD Racing, Christodoulou has been instrumental in the team’s success, contributing significantly to VRD Racing’s progress in Europe.
Commenting on his move to USF2000, Christodoulou expressed his excitement and anticipation for the upcoming season: “I’m grateful to be a part of the VRD family for another racing season. Thanks to Dan and my dad for making this all possible! I’m excited for the 2024 USF2000 championship as we aim for the top step of the championship and nothing less. I’m looking forward to the first round in St. Petersburg, Florida, and can’t wait to start this championship!”
Dan Mitchell shared his thoughts on Christodoulou’s advancement and the team’s expectations for the 2024 season.
“Nico is part of the VRD family. After winning in USF2000 in Toronto last season during a one-off appearance, it became obvious that this was the right move for him as he sets his sights on INDYCAR via the USF Pro Championships scholarship ladder.”
Christodoulou’s 2023 campaign saw him bring home several podiums in GB3 and a one-off win in his home race at Toronto in USF2000. The Canadian driver is eager to bring home more results like this in an entire season of USF2000 this year.
