VRD Racing is an industry-leading junior formula car racing team. For over twenty years, VRD has sought to develop the next generation of racecar drivers by offering various programs to aspiring drivers.

Led by Dan Mitchell, the British-born Engineer / Team Owner is all hands on deck as he is the backbone of the VRD program, while his worldwide connections in motorsports attract drivers from many different disciplines to open-wheel racing.
Who is VRD Racing?
Making a name for themselves in several open-wheel series in 2019 and 2020, VRD Racing captured the F4 United States Championship Powered by Honda this season. In 2021, the team joins the Road to Indy Presented by Cooper Tires with a multi-car effort. Set to compete with a pair of Cooper Tires USF2000 Championship entries and one Indy Pro 2000 Presented by a Cooper Tires competitor, the Atlanta Motorsports Park-based program will aim to continue its successes in two of the most challenging divisions in North American motorsports.
